Sneaker Watch: Rose-less Bulls Take Down Heat

words // Luis Sanchez

With Derrick Rose sitting out last night for the Bulls with a minor groin injury, many fans out there figured the Bulls would have a tough time dealing with their 2011 Eastern Conference Finals opponent in the Miami Heat and their “Big 3.”

The Bulls were led by unexpected studs off the bench, with the 5 11′ John Lucas leading them to victory with 24 points and several clutch shots late in the game to make the difference. Putting in respectable efforts in the loss, LeBron James scored 35 points for the Heat, while his sidekick Dwyane Wade also had a good night with 36 points for the Heat.
