Sneaker Watch: Rondo Leads Celtics To Victory Over East-leading Bulls

words // Luis Sanchez

Said to have felt snubbed after not making the Eastern Conference All-Star team, Rajon Rondo was out to prove himself in yesterday’s big match up with the Chicago bulls.

14-11 and 7th in the East, the Celtics confidentially took the court vs the East-leading Bulls. Rondo lead his team with 32 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds, enough for the 15th triple double in his NBA career. Kevin Garnett also had 13 points for the celtics, while ray Allen added 11 and jajuan Johnson put in 12.

Other match ups in the league included none other than Kobe Bryant hitting a game winner in the final seconds for a victory over Toronto, rebounding from Friday night’s frustrating defeat at the hands of the New York Knicks. Kobe scored 27 points in the game, but none bigger than his signature baseline jumper with 4.2 seconds left for the victory.
