Carmelo Anthony makes his Knicks debut in the Jordan Melo M7.
All season (and then some) there have been rumors and speculation that Carmelo Anthony wanted out of Denver and wanted to play in New York. Though Anthony denied them all along, it seemed only a matter of time before he would be seen wearing the blue and orange of the Knicks and suiting up for his first game in the Big Apple.
Wednesday, New York fans finally got the player they’ve been waiting for. Melo did not disappoint, either, putting in 27 points and 10 rebounds in his New York Knicks debut, leading the Knicks to a 114-108 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. His teammate with the Nuggets who was also shipped east, Chauncey Billups, also put up impressive numbers. Billups scored 21 points and had 8 assists in his New York debut.
Now that Carmelo is in NYC, how long will it be before the other Jordan Brand athlete rumored to be part of the new-look Knicks, Chris Paul, makes his way to New York?
