For runners with a natural stride, the Saucony Ride 6 has been described as a go-to shoe. The latest version of the brand’s flagship neutral lightweight runner is the first in the series to feature the PowerGrid midsole cushioning technology. PowerGrid is 15% lighter and provides 30% more durable cushioning than ProGrid, the technology used in its predecessor.
The PowerGrid also features an air mesh upper for enhanced breathability, a HydraMAX collar lining with moisture-wicking properties and plush hand feel and a ComfortLite sockliner contoured to cradle the heel, support the arch and reduce peak pressures in the forefoot.
In addition to PowerGrid, the midsole is equipped with Super Rebound Compound (SRC), which provides durable shock absorption in the heel crashpad to help reduce torque and allow for a smooth transition into the midfoot.
iBR+ rubber is 33% lighter and provides more cushioning compared to standard blown rubber. Premium XT-9000 carbon rubber outsole material offers enhanced traction properties without sacrificing durability.
These new Saucony running shoes are available in Red/Citron-Black and Grey/Green-Citron for men, as well as Grey/Purple-Vizipro Coral and Silver/Blue-Citron colorways for women.
