Reebok has never been a stranger to outside the box thinking. Their Pump Technology system was the first of its kind, and although at first many were skeptical, it has become a favorite amongst sneaker lovers and collectors over the years. Last year they introduced another new technology, ZigTech, the “energy drink for your feet” that sends energy from heel strike to forefoot through a zig-zag shaped midsole.

The latest style from the Reebok camp to incorporate the Zig Technology, like the Zig Fly, carries the Reebok Premier name. The Reebok Premier Zig Blaze Stability utilizes not only the easily recognizable Zig Technology, but also two of Reebok’s lesser-known functional technologies. First is SmoothFit, a design that reduces and eliminates seams to ensure that rubbing and irritation is avoided as much as possible. Second is the use of PlayDry, which is a moisture-wicking material that brings sweat away from the foot and speeds up the evaporation process while increasing ventilation. So while the ZigTech and TPU medial post are providing control, underneath the reflective uppers, Reebok has technologies hard at work to make sure that form and function are right up there with the fashion side of this latest running shoe.
