Nike Basketball is getting ready to drop the next edition in the signature line of Kobe shoes. The Nike Zoom Kobe VI follows up the Kobe IV and Kobe V with a low-cut design that has becoming the defining feature of Kobe Bryant’s sneakers. With an affection for the game and a approach to basketball that sees as many spins, slashes and cuts as soccer players, the Kobe VI is just enough in size and weight to get the job done, and nothing more.

Nike Basketball stepped up the creativity with a snakeskin-like texture that comes from Kobe’s Black Mamba nickname. Zoom Air technology returns again in this year’s design with the hopes of taking Kobe and the Lakers back to the NBA Finals where he will attempt to add his third consecutive Finals MVP Award, and the third consecutive NBA Championship.

The Nike Zoom Kobe VI in this combination of Black, Dark Grey, White and Del Sol will be available at Eastbay on December 26th.

Those are some clean shots. Of course, set is as my wallpaper.

One of the best colorways thus far. The shoes does not look very appealing in stock photos — but once they hit the floor, they’re magnificent!

kind of remind of of that Andrian peterson commercial where his skin turns to scales.. will have to wait and see about these on court, but I agree they do look pretty nasty on stock photos.

not sure about the snake skin texture covering most of the shoe but we’ll have to wait and see them on the floor. also they look quite a bit bulkier then previous kobe’s
