We saw Kevin Durant debut his third signature shoe from Nike Basketball earlier this week in our Sneaker Watch coverage. Since KD has been playing at home this week, he’s been wearing the home colorway of the Nike Zoom KD III which will release in early January. This colorway will soon become Durant’s choice for road games with its Black base and Photo Blue detailing.
Following up last year’s Nike Zoom KD2, which was one of the best bang for the buck shoes in many accounts, the KD III will likely be the shoe of choice for versatile players. Of course we’ll see Kevin Durant wearing the shoe, and likely a handful of his teammates throughout the season but just as we’ve seen Amar’e Stoudemire in the KD2, don’t be surprised to see the KD III on some other famous feet from the League.
The Zoom Air in the forefoot, combined with a Phylon makes for a lightweight shoe that is designed to keep up with your every move. Whether you’re taking it to the hole, posting up inside or crashing the boards. A herringbone pattern on the solid rubber outsole provides traction and a combination of leather, synthetics, and Flywire technology might just be all that you need in a basketball shoe.

copped on shoetrends.com for $65
those are sooooooo fake on shoetrends. but you probably know that or just wont listen to me.
anyways i’m holding out for the kd4′s. those were fire
Goldfinger he probably knows that doing advertising for that fake site probably…
Looking really nice, the details on KD’s shoes are always on point.
shoetrends.com is legit geniuses
shoetrends.com is 100000000% legit. you just have to wait a long time to get your shoes from em sometimes. seems like shoetrends doesn’t get em in til way after the release date!
I got my KD3 yesterday and I am super impressed with them. The have a much better all around fit over the KD1 and KD2. Alot of people complained that there is no strap on the new KDs but its not needed. Pretty sure these only have Zoom air in the forefoot but you cannot tell at all. They feel like they have full length Zoom Air. Cushioning is great! The toebox is a little narrow, thats understandable though cause KD has super super narrow feet!
The pair shown here is a sample pair. KDs signature has been removed from the shoe and so has the blue on the front part of the sole.
These are such a great value shoe for basketball, shame the Uk price does not match the same value though!!
Not feeling ‘em, way too generic for the scoring Champ’s sigs.
They should crash the IV’s through, at the All-Star break.
