On the other end of lobs from Gary Payton during the ’94-’95 NBA season, Shawn Kemp debuted his first ever signature shoe — the Reebok Kamikaze. Its Seattle-inspired colorway and uniquely blocked upper set the tone for classics mid-90s Reebok footwear that would follow.
Last year, Reebok kicked things off by bringing back the Kamikaze 2. In 2014, they’re bringing back the original in celebration of its 20th Anniversary. The shoe returns with its white leather and black nubuck upper, along with green accents on the tongue, heel and outsole.
Kemp’s classic Reebok basketball shoes will be available here for $115 this Friday at 8:00 a.m. / 7:00 a.m. CST. Follow @Eastbay on Twitter and @OfficialEastbay on Instagram for all release information and updates.
