The New Orleans Hornets are currently enjoying a 10-game win streak, and a lot of that can be attributed to the floor generalship of point guard Chris Paul. After missing most of last season with a knee injury, the two-time All-Star is healthy and playing at a level required to guide the Hornets back to the playoffs.

Also making a return this year is Chris Paul’s Jordan Brand signature shoe line. The latest installment, the CP3.IV, officially launched last month. New colorways of the new shoe will arrive at Eastbay next month, including the pairs seen here.

First up is a shoe that isn’t an exact match to the colors worn by his alma mater Wake Forest, but wouldn’t look too shabby being worn by the Deacons at the Joel. The shoe features a white leather and synthetic upper with black mesh working near the heel. Sunstone accents the fabric lace loops, heel pull and Jumpman branding on the lateral heel. Honeycomb traction makes a return in white and yellow rubber.

The second is a pair perfect for Paul’s home games. White full-grain leather is accented by black mesh detailing along the side panels and ankle. Black continues to compliment the look on the heel-pull, laces and midsole. Orion Blue offers a little color pop along the collar, inner liner, CP3 and Jumpman branding, lace loops and midsole stripe.

When CP3 isn’t defending the hive, he’ll be on the swarm in the sleek black-based pair in the lineup. The darker upper is contrasted with vibrant hits of varsity purple and Orion blue throughout the design. Minor hints of sunstone take care of branding on the tongue and toebox to complete the look.
