Before there was LeBron James, Kevin Durant or even Kobe Bryant representing for Nike Basketball, there was Kevin Garnett, Penny Hardaway, Scottie Pippen, as well as ‘The Glove” Gary Payton. Creating what many call the “Glory Days” for Nike Basketball shoes, KG, Pip, Penny and The Glove had some of the most memorable signature sneakers Nike Basketball has ever put out. As part of our latest trip down memory lane with Eastbay, we bring you a look at the memorable signature sneakers worn by these stars.

We get a look at everything from KG’s first ever signature shoe with the Swoosh, to the Gary Payton endorsed Air Zoom Flight. Fan favorites at the time, we take a look back at the original Air Jordan XIII and the Air Jordan Trainer. Of course Penny Hardaway was also one of the biggest stars at the time, with the Air Penny III just having been released by Eastbay. We also take a look back at Pip’s memorable Air Pippen II, as well as the often-forgotten Jumpman Team Jordan and the iconic Air Max Uptempo

Continue below for our latest trip down Memory Lane with Eastbay.

MP23 – they sure did!! Great original colorway that he wore all through the ’98 Finals.

And have to agree with everyone…I’d love for the Black / White Teams to come back out. Amazing shoe.

Man!!!! i feel old…lol. I remember this issue and loved all the shoes. Managed to get those Gloves and i still have the trainers(driving shoes now) and the 3.0′s loved them. But putting those shoes on today, i can’t believe how heavy shoes were back then compared to now. It was like playing with bricks on our feet.
