With Derrick Rose’s latest signature adidas basketball shoes officially launching today, it’s only fitting that we take a look back at what the NBA’s reigning MVP has worn on his feet up to his point. An adidas athlete during his short stay at the University of Memphis, Derrick made a big splash in the footwear world when he signed a multi-year deal to endorse the brand professionally in the summer of 2008. Since then, Rose has received special player edition make-ups, a signature line and has become the face of adidas Basketball.
Derrick’s professional career began in personalized colorways of the adidas TS Creator and will hopefully resume this year with his third signature shoe, the adiZero Rose 2. In between, we’ve seen Rose editions of the TS Cut Creator and Supernatural Creator, as well as multiple colorways of the adiZero Rose and adiZero Rose 1.5. Last year he even broke away from his sigs temporarily to lace up the Crazy 8 and adiZero Crazy Light. Below is a look at nearly all of the models Derrick has worn in the NBA, including a few unique colorways for special occasions.
