It’s been a life changing season for Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard. Last season’s Rookie of the Year was named an All-Star for the first time and competed in a record 5 events during All-Star Weekend in New Orleans. His Blazers finished seeded fifth in the Western Conference and will open the playoffs today after not qualifying last season. To cap it all off, he signed a multi-year extension with adidas Basketball last week.
With that extension, we’ll be seeing a lot of Lillard in stripes for the foreseeable future. You can expect him to make his postseason debut in a PE colorway of the brand new adidas Crazy Quick 2.
For both restricted and unrestricted motion, QuickWeb construction combines seamlessly bonded no-stretch bands onto a flexible, single-layer textile base. GeoFit pads the molded collar and the TechFit sock has been moved closer to the foot for a more energized fit. A SprintFrame chassis acts like a car chassis, providing a light, stable frame and moderating all movements of the tooling. The PureMotion+ midsole and multi-zone outsole enhance quickness. For athletes who like to track progress, the shoe is miCoach compatible.
Lillard’s ‘Home’ Portland-inspired colorway sports a mid grey base with light scarlet accents and a speckled white midsole. Personalization comes in the form of ‘DAME’ running down the lateral chrome eyelets.
