Over the last year or so, Converse has introduced the Poorman Weapon with collaborative efforts from some of the top boutiques from around the country. Thanks to the success of those collaborations, the silhouette already has some buzz around it, despite not having any general release colorways available yet.

It’s not so much a surprise that this style would be successful, as it has the genes of two of the most popular Converse styles of all time. The Poorman Weapon takes influences from the Chuck Taylor All Star and the Converse Weapon. Paneling and the Converse Chevron logo on the side panel are inspired by the classic eighties style Weapon, and the lightweight and flexible efficient style of the Chuck Taylor All Star combine for not only a new future-classic style, but also come at a price that is equally appealing.

The first two colorways of the Poorman Weapon come in a purple and white combination, and a black and white version, both of which feature a suede finish.

With the suede, they’re very classy Poorman’s Weapons. 8)
