If there was a bright spot to be found in the Buffalo Bills‘ rough 2012 NFL season, it had to be the play of third-year running back C.J. Spiller. Playing in all 16 games, Spiller set new career marks in carries (207), yards (1,244), average per carry (6.0) and touchdowns (6). According to reports out of training camp, Spiller will be heavily featured in this year’s Buffalo offense, apparently set to carry the rock until he “throws up.” Let’s hope that’s just meant figuratively.
To prepare for what he hopes is another career best season, Spiller is training hard for Week 1 in the brand new adidas Springblade running shoe. Officially launched last week, the Springblade is highlighted by individually tuned blades on the outsole, designed to propel runners forward with each stride. The Springblade is available in a variety of men’s and women’s colorways now.
