With the NFL Draft upon us and football on everyone’s mind, the latest from adidas Football has arrived at the perfect time. Newly signed athletes Von Miller and Randall Cobb will no doubt be selected in the first round and adidas continues to bring new designs to the table for the coming season. The latest comes from the Scorch series and continues the adidas approach of lighter and faster is better.
The adidas Scorch X Superfly is improved upon from last year’s version with an even lighter weight. This year’s version, the X (10) comes in at just under 10 ounces. Using a lightweight synthetic leather upper, as well as protective synthetic overlays, the Scorch X Superfly is not only fast but durable as well. Using a non-slip lining and a Poron Foam sockliner, adidas Football makes sure that comfort is still a part of the package. Traction is provided by the Pebax power base and molded studs which has been outfitted with a lateral agility zone that provides better grip in not only every direction but on a variety of surfaces as well.
