Although adidas Originals has been steadily bringing new creations like the recent Fortitude Mid colorways, and the revamped adiZero version of the Forum, their classic silhouettes will always hold a place amongst collectors. One of their most memorable designs originally released for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.
The adidas LA Trainer was one of the most creative early ways to offer wearers a custom cushioning system. The LA Trainer featured removable pegs placed in the heel area of the midsole which could be changed out to your preference of cushioning. The technology, although not up to today’s standards, was innovative at the time and the adidas LA Trainer has since become a sought after piece to many collector’s collections. For this summer, three new colorways of the LA Trainer will release giving an opportunity to add this rarely retro’ed sneaker to your collection.
