Derrick Rose seems to have worked his way to the top of the MVP candidacy this year thanks to his 25 points, 7.9 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game. With this year being his best yet, and the Bulls currently sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference standings, it couldn’t be more fitting that he receive his first signature model shoe from adidas.
Although Rose began the year in the in the adidas adiZero Rose, adidas Basketball set him up with the slightly faster adiZero Rose 1.5 for the second half of the season. The adidas adiZero Rose 1.5 utilizes adidas’ SPRINTSKIN technology and a one-piece heel counter and torsion plate combination to keep up with Derrick’s lightning quick moves. The Cilia herringbone pattern of the translucent outsole also does its best to keep up with the cutting and slashing of Rose in the traction department. This latest colorway, which combines white with a bit of light grey and an icy clear outsole, could arguably be one of the best yet.
