adidas adiZero 5-Star Eastbay Exclusive

words // Nick Engvall

The adidas adiZero line has become synonymous with ultra-lightweight performance. The adiZero 5-Star football cleat takes that approach to a whole new level. This Eastbay-exclusive Metallic Gold colorway is just one of the many color choices from adidas Football for the coming season.

At just 6.9 ounces, the adidas adiZero 5-Star is about as light as it gets, and just as it is with all other adiZero designs, lighter is faster. Utilizing SprintSkin technology that has become almost standard in their basketball line, adidas has been able to reduce weight and keep the 5-Star stable and supportive. The 5-Star also uses Sprint Frame technology to bring a balance between speed and stability. While the TraXion stud configuration makes the most of of the TPU outsole by giving you the ultimate in traction and acceleration. A molded insole provides cushioning and teams up with a heel cup design that keeps you comfortably locked in, no matter how fast you are.
